Chris and Xand Van Tulleken, medical doctors, LSHTM alumni and identical twins who have presented numerous popular science series on the BBC, (also a recent West End Show based on their BAFTA-winning children’s medical series) will be talking about their experiences of media work to address topical public health challenges. They will illustrate this through recent projects including: “The doctor who gave up drugs”; a BMJ piece on “Overdiagnosis and industry influence: how cow’s milk protein allergy is extending the reach of infant formula manufacturers“; about how humanitarian efforts can be operationalised to serve political ends.

The event is free, but registration is required.
